why did God make Lucifer, knowing that he will rebel?

God knows today, tomorrow and eternity… why then did God make man, knowing that man will fall or why even make Lucifer, knowing that he will betray Him?

    NOTSAMSON

    Romans 8: 14
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

In all my reading of the Bible the “Sons of God” refers only to the Faithful Saints, as is stated here in Romans.
In Genesis 6, when it refers to the Sons of God it is referring to those who are faithful followers of God, those who have the gospel and know the truth. There sin is in marrying the unfaithful, or the daughters of men.

In the New Testament the term “sons of God” is used exclusively to refer to the faithful saints who believe and follow Christ, and are lead by the spirit.

In Job it again refers to the Faithful, but the faithful spirits who lived before this world was. Of course we do read in many places that God is the Father of our Spirits, and so in speaking of the spirits before this life they could all be termed his sons.

  5. I offered to share about Noah’s Ark and suffering notsamson because so many Atheists that I share with in my Ministry claim God is cruel and vengeful because they cannot understand why there is suffering and how He could have killed all those on the earth except for Noah and His family. I do respect their honesty and I also understand their confusion and I feel for them having been an Atheist for almost 30 years myself but not in my heart just my head, but I do pray passionately that they will come to understand their Heavenly Father and have assurance that He is Love and can do no evil and that He Loves them too even though they deny Him.

It’s very comforting for me and those who really know God’s True Nature, but sadly not all who are in the Church do as you have witnessed notsamson and so they are also just as confused and deceived as those who deny God but for us who do know His goodness, and holiness, we know without a doubt that He does not willingly allow evil to happen but He does tolerate it, and does bring good from it.

In Truth it grieves Him greatly to see suffering, illness and turmoil etc, including little babies being mistreated and abused or dying of sickness, hunger and thirst, even though He knows they will soon be with Him. Thankfully He is patient not wanting any of His Children what ever age to perish, which would happen if He took all the evil out of the world right now, many have still not come to heart repentance so they would perish.

But time is short and the evil we see around us, God will bring to an end in the near future, meaning in His appointed time, which He will reveal at the right time to His Children, but be assured not one of His Children that He has known in His Spirit from Eternity and known in the flesh since they were conceived, will be lost because they will all come to True heart repentance which He knew from the beginning and so He chose them to be conformed into the likeness of His Son Jesus Christ and they will indeed shine in the darkness as they proclaim His Name in Truth and Love.

I will share about the great flood and why it was necessary in the near future notsamson as you have affirmed for me to do so, thank you again.

    Christian Love Anne.

    • Reading this with a big smile on my face. I am always happy to hear honest questions and its funny how they mostly come from atheists or youths. I believe this is because most christians pretend to know things that they have no understanding of atall and therefore prefer not to ask questions as they are afraid they may be looked upon by fellow christians, as lacking knowledge. I have come to believe that honestly seeking answers about the things of God can lead man to knowing the heart of God.

The Atheists, like the youths of today (the younger generation) have alot of genuine questions about God and if their questions are not addressed correctly, they will continue in their beliefs that God does not exist. However, It appears that you have a sound understanding of the true nature of God, which most “christians” are in denial about.

We are putting a book together on this subject. May the good Lord see us through. I receive this post as a confirmation of our endeavours and also as a confirmation of our next post, which has been on my mind for a few days.

May God continue to bless you Anne. Thank you very much.

  6. Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves:
be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

    Matthew 10:16

    A difficult passage to swallow.
It is as if we must fight fire with fire,
without causing any harm to the wood.

  7. Thank you Notsamson for your patience with my wordage, I hope to have links soon…..In The beginning was God = The Godhead or Trinity as They are known today, we were not yet created or in another form, our spirit and soul had not yet been given life this happened on the 6th day of Creation , Satan as one of the Angels was also created and Scripture confirms these truths Psalm 104:4 The Angels were created before man and all were created with free will Isaiah 54:16 this includes Lucifer. God is Love and can do no evil, man can and does’ … evil is the absence of Love.

All God Created was good, and as I shared before, God created Man, the Angels including Lucifer with free will … who wants someone to Love you because they have no choice as Jan said. Lucifer chose to rebel against God… God did not create him evil only as we too were created, if we do evil it poisons our soul and if we do good it purifies our soul but only with the empowering of the Holy Spirit can we walk in victory… God did not create us Puppets with no choice but to obey Him because He wants willing Children not fearful ones.

So why did God go ahead and create Satan knowing he would rebel, because all things work together for good for those who love the Lord and He knew Satan could only go so far and no further, Jesus is our Armour against the evil one, God knew He would work everything out for good for those who Love and obey Him. Satan has already lost Christ’s Death was sufficient to pay the ransom for all mankind who accepts Salvation through repentance…. All that is left is the clean up.

Nest time we will look at why there is suffering and Noahs Ark.

    Kind regards Anne

    • thank you so much for this. you right up our street.. looking forward to your topic on suffering and Noah’s ark.

      • Thank you notsamson for your willingness to let me share what is in my heart, I do so with the anointing of the Lord and under His ultimate Authority. I do not believe a Woman should have Authority over Men or teach them in her own Authority.

Men were created to be in Leadership and Woman to be their Helpmates, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, in Christ Jesus, I submit to the Authority He has given Men because of my Love for Him and I obey them as they are faithful to walk as He walked through His empowering. As Woman like Men we are called to share God’s Truth under Authority, to rebuke, to correct error, and to warn when others are in danger because of their sin and we are to do so with Love and for Love and until we are perfected in Love, with caution too.

notsamson I respect you as my Authority on your Blog and will seek to answer what you ask when lead by the Spirit.

        Christian Love Anne.

      • Wow.. I have never heard a woman speak in such manner. Glory be to God for your humility. pls speak as you are moved.

      • This piece was cogent, well-wrttein, and pithy.

  8. I hope you don’t mind notsamson but I will need to answer this in two parts or the wordage will be great.

Firt we need to establish who Lucifer, Satan , the Devil, The Destroyer, the evil one the Prince of darkness , the Lord of the flies is etc. There has been a translation error in some Bibles but not to deceive just wrongly translated.

Satan is not the Morning Star, Jesus Christ is as we can see below.

Isaiah 14:11-13 Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee. How art thou fallen from Heaven, * O Lucifer, son of the morning! * how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into Heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: (k.j.v )

Revelation 22:15-17 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. + I Am the Root and the Offspring of David, and The Bright and Morning Star.+

2 Peter 1:18-20 And this voice which came from Heaven we heard, when we were with Him in the Holy Mount. We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the + Day Star arise in your hearts:+

The Day Star has the same root meaning in the Greek as the Morning Star, Jesus is the Day Star or the Morning Star, not Lucifer.

    Kind regards Anne

If God created Lucifer so that he would rebel, how is God justified in condemning him for fulfilling the purpose of his creation.
It is like making a car and then throwing it into the junkyard because it runs.

I am going to speak a few heresies and state that God did not create Lucifer. He knew he would rebel, but he did not create him for rebellion. He did not create him at all.

I know this seems to contradict an All Powerful God, but not if we consider what All powerful means. It does not mean God can do whatever he wants, but that all power that is possible to have God has. This would then indicate that there are some powers that are impossible to have; some powers by which God himself is governed. Among these powers is the force of opposition that Jan speaks of.

The idea of God creating everything that ever existed is what causes such dilemmas as this. If we can see that the Bible speaks only to this Earth and this existence, we can then begin to see the true possibilities and begin to resolve the dilemmas. As long as God is the created of everything these dilemmas will never be resolved.

    • Ok (shematwater) but did God not say He raised pharaoh for this purpose? Did Jesus not say judas was chosen for this purpose? and many others

        You ready for more heresy?

One must understand that all people lived before this mortal existence. When we recognize that the Bible tells only of this mortal life (As it calls the creation the beginning) we can see such references such as “the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.” (Ecclesiastes 12:7) or “the angels which kept not their first estate” (Jude 1: 6), or “all the sons of God [shouting] for joy” (Job 38: 7) refer to the time before this life; a time when all the sons of God were together, as spirits in the presence of the Father before we came here, and that some there rebelled (the first estate).

When we accept that Bible teaches that we all lived before this world was, we start to see the picture. God raised up Pharaoh for the purpose for the simple fact that God knew us as spirits, and knew us so well that he also knew how we would react in certain circumstances. So, he selected a spirit man who he knew would act a certain way and placed that spirit in a body, and thus the soul of Pharaoh was born.

God does not create evil, nor does he cause others to commit evil. But he does set things up to achieve his ends, and he selects those spirits who will actually do what is needed. This is the principal of for-ordination that Paul speaks of, the selecting of specific people as spirits to be born to specific times and callings on Earth. Jeremiah was so selected (Jeremiah 1: 5) as were the thousands in the time of Elijah who never bowed to Baal (Romans 11: 4).

Some will say that this destroys the free will of man, but that is not true. It is not that God is forcing anyone to act in a certain way. It is simply that God has observed us enough to be able to predict with perfect accuracy how we will choose to act.
It is very much like a husband and wife who have been married for several years. They begin to be able to predict what things the other will like, or how they will react to a given event. God just does so more perfectly.

      • The bible sometimes refers to angels as “the sons of God”. don’t actually think its us being referred to there. Also the first estate as you mentioned here, i believe was referring to the angels who were recorded to have fallen, leaving their positions and coming down to earth to have intercourse with humans.

Although i agree with some of your concepts on the last three paragraphs, i will not delve into it for now as the bible did not exactly go that deep on this. However, who knows? maybe you right…. my thoughts are reserved… for now…

      • Good point. I hadn’t tgohuht about it quite that way. 🙂

      • thanx for stopping by. Obviously there are reasons for all this things but what is not obvious is what these reasons are.

However, man can know the heart of God. Man can know the answers to all this puzzles, if man seeks God diligently… Do you believe?

      • To think, I was confused a mintue ago.

  10. Cool question! I think that ties in with authentic love. If God had not created Lucifer, there wouldn’t have been an opposing force who could test our loyalty to God. And looking at the Bible from a narrative view-point, the purpose of Lucifer’s character is to draw people away from God. But if we love God, we would stick with Him instead, and not conform to the life Satan wants us to live. I think God created Lucifer because without him, there wouldn’t be authentic love. Cheers.
